This tour was fantastic and our kayak guide, Greg, was stellar;) We had a group of six and each one said we learned something new. Two of our guests were locals so I thought that was significant. It was my first time and with Greg’s help,I got some of the best photos I’ve ever taken on vacation:) Thanks for an unforgettable trip through the mangroves !!
Greg grew up in the area and was extremely informative about the mangroves and the entire Sarasota area.
We highly recommend Kim & Greg for your kayak adventure in Sarasota.
Mom and baby manatees Mom and baby dolphin I love that ...The Mangrove tunnels it's amazing . magical experience..... thank you so Much
Greg and Orlando took us on an AMAZING kayak tour where we learned a lot about the local wildlife. The coolest part by far was getting to paddle through the mangroves and seeing everything up close.
Not only is Greg super knowledgeable about the area and the animals in it, he is also really dedicated to finding as many animals as possible for his group to see. While we didn't get to see any manatees on our tour (even manatees have slow days, apparently), both Greg and Orlando did their absolute best to find them (and were obviously disappointed when they couldn't)- all while keeping us entertained with their great stories!
The tour is the perfect size to be able to go with either a friend, a family, or a group while at the same time being able to hear everything that's said. You spend a lot of time on the water, but it's shallow most of the time so it's a pretty easy paddle. Also birds dive around you and swim under your kayak to catch fish, which is super cool.
For someone like me, who has never been near salt water, Greg gave a great introduction to sea life. It was amazing to learn so many fascinating facts about plants and animals I have never seen.
IF I COULD GIVE TEN STARS OUT OF 5, I WOULD!!!
Thanks for a great tour Greg.
I had no idea that you could do tandem kayaking and that was tricky for us, but again, great to have a patient and friendly tour guide wiling to coach us through paddling and maneuvering things.
It’s a must do for anyone and definitely family friendly plus a great way to see Sarasota and it’s unspoiled salt life.”
